Zola: No Regrets

This playful campaign leaned into popular wedding planning pitfalls that can be avoided by using Zola’s tools — all of which are crafted with couples in mind. A collection of TV ads served as the foundation to the overall storyline. I then applied this “no regrets” platform to our messaging funnel, working with our internal team to develop subway ads, direct mail, emails, and a robust collection of digital ads to educate couples at various stages of their Zola journey.

TV ADS

Created in partnership with Mekanism, we produced three weddings in one epic shoot day on Staten Island’s Snug Harbor (gorgeous, by the way). We could never have anticipated the epic stir that these charming little ads caused, all because we amplified our core value: reflecting the diverse couples getting married today.

I led the content strategy for our subway interpretation of the “no regrets” platform, developing the concept and collaborating with Amanda Glickman on copy with Emily Mercado driving design under Alexandra Fortune’s art direction.

I also adapted the platform into a multi-page direct mail piece, which let us tell a more robust story. Amanda Glickman took the lead on copy, with Emily Mercado driving design under Alexandra Fortune’s art direction.
