TCS World Travel, the leaders in private jet expeditions, asked Departures to promote their signature Around the World Tour, a whirlwind journey that takes about 50 guests across six continents by private plane in 24 days (I’ll spare you the starting rate). So how does one write an article that doesn’t read like a press release, nor a simple copy-and-paste from the company’s (robust) website? You dive into the history of the round-the-world tour, arming readers with a little cultural cachet before introducing this itinerary as the one of the future. Our contact at TCS ended up calling my first draft “the best R1 of native content I have ever seen.” He’s my new best friend.
